Review: Singapore Airlines Business Class Boeing 787-10 [SIN - DEL]
Singapore Airlines Business class on their Boeing 787-10 from Singapore to Delhi offers a great regional business class experience. Fantastic service, good food, and an elevated gate to gate experience keep Singapore Airlines firmly in my top airlines.
Overall Rating:
I had a bit of time after an Indonesia trip in November 2025 and decided to try a few days in India. I’ve flown Singapore Air long haul business a number of times, but have yet to try their regional product.
It is always a pleasure to fly Singapore Air out of Singapore.
It is a late night (early morning – 2AM) departure so will mostly be asleep for this, but will try to give a through review of the important bits.

How I Booked Singapore Airlines Business Class
I booked this flight through Air Canada Aeroplan using 60,000 Aeroplan points transferred from Chase Rewards and 115 Canadian dollars. A little expensive for this flight (only around 6 hours) but I’m willing to overpay a bit for better sleep.
Aeroplan is probably my favorite transfer partner for Capital One, Chase, and American Express points. All at a 1:1 transfer ratio.
I found this particular availability using Seats.aero. Regionally, I find there is always quite a bit of availability for these sorts of 5-10 hour flights.
Singapore Airlines 787 Business Class Lounge
Singapore Airlines operates a fantastic lounge space out of Terminal 3, which we will be using today. They also operate a smaller lounge in Terminal 2, which we will get to later.
SilverKris Lounge | Changi Terminal 3
Lounge is located just outside of security, and up an escalator above the main shopping complex.
Pretty busy at 7p, but still plenty of seats available in this expansive lounge space.
My favorite section is overlooking the terminal with the high ceilings.
Large secondary seating space on the way to the restaurant
Restaurant area with plenty of seating
Including this back section which I have never actually been in.
Huge selection of hot food items, buffet style.
Including 2 ‘made to order’ chef stations with a set menu.
Self pour bar area with spirits, champagne, and wine.
Coffee/Tea kiosk
Fully staffed bar near the entrance of the lounge
And a smaller selection of ‘lite bites’ on the opposite side of the main restaurant.
Showers were quite busy this evening, with about a 30 minute wait. Fortunately there are a number of shower rooms (14?) so its not as bad as it could be.
Upon entering, I am ‘warmly’ greeted by a Toto toilet.
Shower room is a good size, clean and well maintained. Beyond refreshing.
Singapore Airlines 787 Business Class Boarding
Security at the gate was quick, but there was a very long line for a passport check.
No obvious signs about a business class line, but there was a separate sign for a line just out of sight.
Boarding was a bit of a mass cattle herd – but fortunately separate gates and bridges for business/first.
Welcome drinks were quickly offred. Champaigne, orange juice, and a pink mimosa (some sort of fruit juice and champagne – grapefruit perhaps? Didn’t quite catch the name of it but it was nice), followed by a hot towel.
FAs around shortly after to take supper and post takeoff drink orders.

Ive noticed the cabin is looking exceptionally festive today.
Singapore Airlines 787-10 Business Class Seat
I’ve actually flown in this seat somewhat recently on Turkish Airlines. It is generally a good seat, with a few minor gripes.
I enjoy Singapore Airlines color choices – the seat has a pleasant, modern, color palate with a large screen. Odd number seats have the wing portion along the window, with the console along the aisle. Blanket and pillow await me in 15K.
Sliding cubby door houses the menu, headphones, water, usb chargers and a plug.
Minimal seat adjustment options, but fortunately today I just need bed mode.
Fully flat bed of course. Footwell is a bit narrow comparatively. I am more used to flying their long haul A350 seats, so I’m a little let down.
No additional mattress was offered, but the seat as a bed was comfortable enough.
Singapore Airlines 787 Business Class In Flight Entertainment
Good sized screen with touch capabilities. Controller to the right is a bit oddly placed – your arm will bump it periodically turning it on mid flight if you are in ‘lounge mode’ and place your arm on the arm rest.
Good selection of media as expected from Singapore, but let down by an increasing number of ads.
Business class gets free in flight WiFi for up to 3 devices.
Singapore Airlines 787 Business Class Meals
Meal service begins quickly after takeoff. With champagne and warm nuts passed out.
Very extensive menu – looking forward to the trolly.

Supper
The appetizer was nice – light and tasty. Good chutney along with a fresh bread service. Not exactly sure what I was eating as was much too tired to refer to the menu.
Main was recommended by the FA. It was a bit of an Indian tasting, with a variety of dishes. All were very nice.
Dessert was skipped this evening as I was much too tired
Singapore Airlines Business Class In Flight Service
Flight attendants were polite and attentive, and quick to clear everything. Proactively asking if you need anything, which is amazing considering 4am local time.
Lavatories of course were spotless.
All in all, even with the short interactions, this was an exceptional crew even among Singapore Air standards.
Bottom Line
Maybe not the best redemption value at 60K for a 6 hour flight, especially considering something akin to Singapore to Tokyo can be found around 45K. Air India also has this route at a 4-500 cash fare when I was looking (we will be looking at them later on the return DEL to SIN leg).
However, you certainly ‘get what you pay for’ and I felt this flight was worth what it cost. I only wish it was a little earlier departure as 2am was quite a painful time to board an airplane.

[…] The seat is clean and in good shape. It is the same seat used by Turkish Airlines on their newer A350s and 787s, as well as Singapore Airlines on their 787s. […]
[…] This is the first leg of as Singapore to Seattle flight I booked through Aeroplan. I’ve flown Singapore Air long haul business a number of times, as well as recently their regional business class from Singapore to Dehli. […]
